Fixture

First a big thanks to New dock stars for helping us with a fixture on a free weekend. We turned up to find a strong Morriston team with a large squad taking on a big New dock stars team. This was the start to our round robbin. We had a few players missing and feared the worst. However again we rose to occasion. Firstly we took on Morriston who had the privalige of many subs which kept them fresh, They played really well and had a lot of speed in their team, We tackled well and we were strong in attack showing some great off loads. Things seem to be coming together and we are spreading the ball around fluently. The first game was a hard game but whenever we attacked we looked dangerous with some lovely moves and good hands on a wet a damp day. This ended in a good win for Fall Bay.

The second game was truly a game of 2 halves. The first half was a hard battle against a big New dock stars team who knew how to carry the ball and gain yards. Our defensive work was excellent with every player giving 100%. Again when we attacked we looked dangerous and often turned the pressure into points. The lack of replacements took its toll in the second half as one of our players was taken to hospital with an injury after a fantastic tackling display in the first half and 2 other players were also injured. Great to say all 3 players are now fine !! New dock stars were stong in the second half but Fall bay showed strength and good character holding on for another win. What a day ! Again a big thank you to New dock stars and Morriston for a good sporting day. Well done everyone.
